Jordi Labanda works as an illustrator, art director and fashion-designer in Barcelona, Spain. He studied Industrial Design and began to work as a commercial illustrator in 1993. He has, among others, given illustration a decisive role in fashion over the recent years. His clothes are clear-cut, exclusive, pure and elegant, but also humorous. Jordi Labanda clothing is influenced by classicism and pop-culture, for example James Bond films, and show a profound aesthetic analysis of these themes. Jordi Labanda creations with their 60s- touch can be summarized with one word: sophistication. Simplicity of shapes and materials combined with figurative graphics. Jordi Labanda also offers lots of accessories, from bags and beachwear to pieces beyond fashion such as agendas, pencils or rugs.
